MCCR is a mobile oil change and repair service in Bozeman, MT that hired me to design a standard logo package and business cards. This is a very personal business to my client, and his inspiration is his own vehicle — a burnt orange Dodge Challenger — on which he has put countless hours into. He refers to it as 'The Montucky Carrot’. He wanted to bring a new offering of mobile services to the Gallatin Valley, knowing how inconvenient getting an oil change or other car services can be.

For his logo, he wanted to use his car as direct inspiration. I outlined specific photos of his vehicle for the different logo options below. He was open to exploring other elements that a mechanic uses, such as a wrench or wheel part. He wanted the orange color of his car used and we proofed multiple color shades to match exactly what he was envisioning.
