Big Sky PBR

During my employment at Outlaw Partners, I led the design efforts and printing coordination for our annual summer event, ‘Big Sky PBR’. This week-long event demanded a high volume of print and digital assets, tailored each year to suit the dynamically constructed arena. The scope of deliverables encompassed newspaper and magazine ads, social and web assets, posters, ID badges, lanyards, wristbands, banners, chute gate stickers, arena signage, stage scrims, maps and ticket keys, event programs, Calcutta sheets, day sheets, and a host of other materials. With a re-brand in 2018, we strived to elevate the design and experience each year with new exciting graphics.

Big Sky PBR is a part of Big Sky’s Biggest Week, with three nights of professional bull riding and other community events. This high-octane show is a treat to experience in Big Sky’s intimate arena with one of Mother Nature’s best backdrops – the 11,166-foot Lone Mountain. The first Big Sky PBR event was a one-night show held in 2011, with a second night added in 2012. Since then, Big Sky PBR’s massive production has turned one week of the year into Big Sky’s Biggest Week, bringing an economic boom to Southwest Montana and drawing over 30,000 attendees and the best bull riders from around the world.

The following represents a glimpse of the extensive array of assets I generated for this event:
